Why do a course with us?
Our community work supports our curriculum: LifeLine Johannesburg has been serving the community for 55years. Our curriculum & content is backed up by our solid experiences of over five decades in the emotional health counselling & empowerment arena we operate in
All our sessions are live: whether in-person or online. Real-time interaction and learning with peers provides invaluable depth & richness that cannot be paralleled in a self-paced course where learning materials are provided for the course to be completed at your own time.
All our facilitators are volunteers: Volunteers in an NGO setting do what they do because of their passion and commitment to make a difference in lives of those around them. Our facilitators make all the difference as they bring the same commitment to the learning environment

Costs & Payment
Why do I have to pay for a course when I want to volunteer?
LifeLine Johannesburg has been built from ground up by the sheer dedication of our volunteers. However, the process of training and absorbing volunteers into the organisation takes 9 to 10 months of dedicated effort & is resource intensive. The funds collected as fees are required to run the course successfully. However all our courses are priced at a competitive rate compared to other personal growth and/or counselling skills courses.
