Wise Choice Groups
The teenage years are always difficult emotionally. Young people must somehow find the tools with which to navigate these formative years - to learn how to make the right decisions and choose wisely.
The Wise Choice programme began as a pilot project in 1999 and has been extremely successful. There have been programmes each year involving young men and women in Soweto and Alexandra.
Young people discuss issues that concern them. Cued by the young participants, LifeLine facilitators present relevant information via art, dance, drama, guest presenters, field trips.
